Charity Concert

On Monday 14 June over thirty musicians will gather together in West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge for a fundraising concert in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

All the musicians involved have been supported by Nigel Brown OBE in one way or another over the years, many of them through the syndicated instrument trusts.  The stage will be filled with stars of the classical music scene, and the instruments played will include violins, violas and cellos by Stradivari, Guarneri, Guadagnini, Gofriller, Amati, Bergonzi, Brenzi and Ceruti.  The programme will include string orchestra works by Vaughan-Williams, Bach and Elgar as well as extracts from Schubert’s Trout Quintet and the Mendelssohn Octet.
